Excel Mortgage Pricing Calculator

More free mortgage tools from LeadPress! This is the pricing tool we use day in and out to price deals. It was built when we realized that using a calculator was inefficient when pricing multiple pricing scenarios and when trying to compare scenarios and loan products. This spreadsheet makes comparing scenarios easy and when you are finished you simply save the spreadsheet as you client’s name and you have it for future reference.

This free mortgage broker tool enables you to price multiple deals using different pricing scenarios. The first row has three boxes that enable three different pricing scenarios for a specific product. We commonly price a No Cost Loan, a Cost Loan, and a Cost plus Points loan in each of these boxes. The second row enables you to do the same with a different product. We will commonly price a fixed rate product in the first rows and an adjustable rate product in the second rows. The third row will enable you to price an option arm and a 2nd as well.

The pricing tool is a bit daunting to look at first. Go to the “With Instructional Comments” tab and hover over the red triangles to read comments about what each cell is for. Once you have a grip on the basics, go to the “Full Version” tab to see the full version.

Every time we price a deal we save it in a “Loan Scenarios” folder as the Client’s name. This allows us to have the pricing for future reference.
